Original Coasters Made Using Sustainable Materials From “THE NEW DENIM PROJECTⓇ” Provided to the “2025 TOYOTA Junior Golf World Cup”

Takihyo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Nishi-ku, Nagoya; Representative Director and CEO: Kazuo Taki), a textile trading company founded in 1751, provided original coasters to the “2025 TOYOTA Junior Golf World Cup,” where 21 national teams from around the world will compete to become the world’s best. The coasters were made using fabrics from “THE NEW DENIM PROJECT®,” which recycles leftover fabric from denim cutting, used clothing that cannot be resold, and fallen cotton from spinning, and turns them into new products. They were distributed to the players as a memento of their participation.
The coasters produced this time were sewn by our affiliated company, T.F.C. Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Nishi-ku, Nagoya; Representative Director and CEO: Shigeki Mori), and the special features of each coaster are the carefully finished red stitching and the original “THE NEW DENIM PROJECT® × 2025 TOYOTA JUNIOR GOLF WORLD CUP” tournament tag.
Prior to the tournament, which will be held from June 23rd to 27th, a friendly golf event was held on the 22nd, where “THE NEW DENIM PROJECT®” was exhibited. Our motive was to offer the young people who will be active on the global stage and lead the next generation an opportunity to feel that social issues and efforts for the future are something that concern them personally.
We will continue to strive to realize a sustainable society through co-creation with various like-minded companies and organizations.
Additionally, in connection with this project, the coasters will be featured on the following Chukyo TV program:
