The Ichinomiya Factory, which is equipped with rare English spinning machines and creates new materials by combining tradition and history with our unique ideas and know-how, is an important strategic base for creating original materials and commercial products. In addition to planning distinctive and strategic products, we also develop high-quality “Made in Japan” merchandise for overseas markets.

1751 FACTORY
Factory overview: A spinning mill equipped with rare English-style spinning machines that date more than 100 years. The process of gradually twisting while stretching the crimps is a characteristic of English spinning machines.
Because this process is repeated, the crimps return during the yarn finishing process, resulting in a fuller yarn that looks as if it were spun by hand.
In March 2014, the factory moved to a new plant that integrated the carding and spinning mills, and also introduced new sample weaving machines.
