■ “Arimatsu Shibori Workshop – Create a One-of-a-Kind Piece with Your Own Hands” Supported by Takihyo
We will hold a workshop where participants can dye a luncheon mat made from materials of our sustainable scheme “THE NEW DENIM PROJECTⓇ” using the Arimatsu Shibori technique, creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake. In addition, along with the workshop, we will present a picture-story show (kamishibai, Part 1) on the history and culture of Arimatsu and conduct guided tours (Parts 2 and 3) as an initiative to promote the succession of Nagoya’s traditional crafts and to deepen understanding of the city’s charm.
