Hinako Yamaguchi, a member of the Marketing Team and the DX Promotion Team in the Marketing Sec. at Takihyo Co., Ltd. (Head office: Nishi Ward, Nagoya City; Representative Director, President and CEO: Kazuo Taki), received the “AI Impact Award”—an individual award recognizing the achievements of an “individual” who has led DX initiatives—at the “Japan DX Award 2026” hosted by the Japan Digital Transformation Promotion Association (JDX).
From a non-engineer’s perspective, she obtained AWS certifications through self-study and reskilling, and utilized generative AI (AWS GenU) to bring BI infrastructure, demand forecasting, and performance measurement in-house. She achieved a company-wide reduction of 450 hours in man-hours per month and had her project featured as an official AWS case study. She was highly evaluated for personally demonstrating that AI can significantly expand individual capabilities and for creating a cycle of “learning and challenge” within the company.
At the poster session of the “Japan DX Award 2026 Summit & Award,” which will be held concurrently with the award ceremony on Thursday, July 23, 2026, we will present on the topic, “Interactive DX That ‘Drives’ a Long-Established Company with Over 270 Years of History. In-House Development of Generative AI by Non-Engineers and the Way Organizations Should Embrace Such Challenges.” We will share firsthand accounts from the very people who spearheaded this transformation on the front lines.

The Japan DX Award is a private-sector award that recognizes initiatives that have brought about change in society and local communities through digital transformation (DX).
For FY 2026, in addition to the existing awards for organizations and business units, we have established a new individual award to recognize the achievements of the “individuals” who have supported and driven digital transformation (DX) on the front lines. From 76 entries (including self-nominations and nominations by others), the selection committee reviewed the submissions and selected a total of six winners across the four awards.
