Providing Original Drawstring Pouches Made from the Sustainable Material “THE NEW DENIM PROJECTⓇ” for the “2026 Toyota Junior Golf World Cup”

Takihyo Co., Ltd. (Head office: Nishi Ward, Nagoya City; Representative Director, President and CEO: Kazuo Taki), a textile trading company founded in 1751, provided original drawstring pouches made from fabric of “THE NEW DENIM PROJECT®,” a project that repurposes leftover denim fabric, used clothing that cannot be resold, and waste cotton from the spinning process into new products, to the 2026 TOYOTA Junior Golf World Cup,” where 21 national teams from around the world compete for the world championship. These pouches were distributed to the players as a memento of their participation.
The drawstring pouches produced this time were sewn by our affiliated company, TFC Corporation (Head office: Nishi Ward, Nagoya City, Representative Director, President and CEO: Shigeki Mori), and feature the “2026 TOYOTA Junior Golf World Cup” logo and tournament mark printed on both the front and back.
Prior to the tournament, which will be held from June 23rd to 26th, a friendly golf event was held on the 21st. At this event, we held an exhibition on “THE NEW DENIM PROJECT®,” in order to help young people who are active on the world stage and who will lead the next generation to feel that social issues and initiatives for the future are matters that personally concern them.

We will continue to strive for the realization of a sustainable society through co-creation with various companies and organizations that share our vision.
