As part of the Happiness Project, Takihyo Co., Ltd. participated in the "GAMA ROCK FEST 2019" and the "Tohoku Cotton Project".
We managed a booth at the "GAMA ROCK FEST 2019", a live event supporting the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake on September 21, 2019 (Sat), selling original goods and holding workshops to remake old clothing. Starting this year, our company has also participated in the planning of the "Tohoku Cotton Project" which aims to rebuild the affected areas through agriculture, and sold Japanese hand towels made from cotton produced by this project. All event profits are donated.
On September 22, 2019 (Sun), we visited the Higashi Matsushima Farm, the production site of the "Tohoku Cotton Project" where we helped clear extra branches and leaves for the better growth of cotton.
We will continue to support the rebuilding of Northeastern Japan through our activities with "GAMA ROCK FES" and the "Tohoku Cotton Project".
