\nThis initiative began when Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel was considering contributing to the SDGs as added value to the hotel experience, as part of a special project commemorating the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Yurikamome New Transit System.
\nOur manufacturing approach of pursuing quality while using recycled fibers and our sustainability policy of valuing limited resources matched the hotel’s needs. The project is the fruit of utilizing cross-industry knowledge to co-create new value in the form of a \u201csustainable accommodation experience.”<\/p>\n

\nThe NO WASTE PROJECT is a recycling system built on the concept of \u201cnot wasting anything.”
\nWe are reducing our environmental impact by, depending on the item, using polyester yarn made from scraps and recycled PET bottles, and cotton yarn made by taking old clothes and fabric scraps generated when making apparel products, crushing them back into fibers, then re-spinning them into yarn, fabric, and products.
