These products were then sold at Fashion Center Shimamura stores nationwide and on Shimamura&#8217;s online store.\n                            <\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl><\/div>\n<div class=\"sus_pro_flexbox_right\">\n<div class=\"sus_project_img\">\n                        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sus_project_02.jpg\" alt=\"Shimamura Co., Ltd.\">\n                    <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"sus_pro_flexbox\">\n<div class=\"sus_pro_flexbox_left\">\n<dl>\n<dt>Snow Peak Inc.<\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p>\n                                The Takihyo Group has partnered with Snow Peak for its new sustainable project, Upcycle Cotton Project. Born from the idea of &#8220;Recycling, not throwing away, clothing,&#8221; the project organizes and sells denim and sweatpants series made from recycled cotton created from the NO WASTE Project. The book, &#8220;UPCYCLE COTTON PROJECT&#8221;, won the &#8220;GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2022.&#8221;\n                            <\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl><\/div>\n<div class=\"sus_pro_flexbox_right\">\n<div class=\"sus_project_img\">\n                        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sus_project_03.jpg\" alt=\"Snow Peak Inc.\">\n                    <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"sus_project_container\">\n<h3>THE NEW DENIM PROJECT\u00ae<\/h3>\n<h4 class=\"sus_policy_ttl\">About THE NEW DENIM PROJECT\u00ae<\/h4>\n<div class=\"sus_pro_flexbox\">\n<div class=\"sus_pro_flexbox_left\">\n<p>\n                        THE NEW DENIM PROJECT\u00ae was launched by Central America Textiles, a spinning company in Central America Guatemala, in an effort to develop sustainable materials that minimize the burden on the planet. The project collects unused cloth that is left over in the denim-making process, used clothing imported from the United States that cannot be resold, and cotton that fall during the spinning process, and spins them all into textiles, giving them new life as various products. The cotton that fall during the spinning process are also used as fertilizer to grow organic coffee in coffee farms, creating a closed-loop production process.
