Amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, Takihyo has decided to take the following steps in order to protect its employees.
We may inconvenience our suppliers, customers and other parties concerned but we ask for your understanding.
These steps shall be enforced until March 10th and further notice shall be given appropriately.

1. If an employee should become infected, information shall be gathered immediately to report to the authorities concerned and appropriate measures shall be taken.
2. In addition to wearing facial masks and frequently washing hands thoroughly, employees shall take every precaution both inside and outside the office.
3. Employees with symptoms of a cold such as fever, sore throat, and coughing shall refrain from coming into work.
4. Pregnant employees and employees with past illnesses shall be permitted to work alternative hours and/or to work from home in order to avoid crowded rush hour commutes and the risk of contact infection.
5. Business trips abroad shall be banned and non-essential and non-urgent trips within Japan shall be restrained.
6. Internal meetings and meetings with people outside the company shall be restrained. Although March 1st is the first day of a new fiscal term, we have decided to cancel the annual meeting and rally which all employees participate and written appointments of personnel transfers normally handed out directly shall be delivered through the company internet except for executives and managers.
7. If suppliers from abroad request to visit the company, employees shall explain the infection situation in Japan and the country's basic policy on measures to control the outbreak and shall politely refuse.
