Takihyo Co., Ltd. has signed a license agreement with Sony Creative Products Inc. (Main Office: Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo President: Hitoshi Hasegawa) and the popular French picture book series "Gaspard et Lisa" and will start selling baby apparel from December 2019 and kid's apparel from March 2020 at chain stores (specialty stores) nationwide.
"Gaspard et Lisa" are characters from the picture book series created by Anne Gutman (story) and Georg Hallensleben (drawings), a husband and wife team. First published in France in 1999, over 40 titles have been released in Japan during 2000 to the present and boast a total sales of over 2 million copies. Takihyo will develop high quality baby & kid's apparel with a French taste.
