Takihyo Co., Ltd. has signed a contract on April 1, 2017 with pro-golfer, Shingo Katayama for the golf wear brand "ZOY".
Winning numerous titles, Katayama continues to evolve while remaining true to his unique style of fashion, equipment and practice methods
Takihyo will offer its full support to Katayama who continues to actively participate in tournaments in both Japan and abroad.

First held an interest in golf at the age of 2 and a half, and won a Junior Tournament while in middle school. Placed 3rd at the Japan Open in 1993 while a junior at Nihon University, and won 33 amateur titles including the Mito Green Open, a match for up and coming golfers.
After turning pro, his first win was at the Sanko Grand Summer in August, 1998. Won 5 titles in 2000 to become the top money winner. Became the top money winner 3 years in a row from 2004.
With his win at the 2007 Japan Golf Tour Championship, achieved Japan's 4 titles. The 2008 Japan Open win was his 25th title and became the 7th player to earn a permanent seed. Became the top money winner again the same year and in 2015 became only the second player who won over 2 billion yen.
Placed 4th at the Professional Golfers' Association Championship in 2001 as well as 4th at the Masters in 2009. Participated in the Rio Olympics in 2016.
Became the 6th golfer to achieve a lifetime total of 30 titles with his win at the My Navi ABC Championship. A star player who leads the pro golf world in Japan.
