Takihyo Co., Ltd. ("Takihyo") signed a contract with a pro golfer, Ms. Sakura Yokomine ("Sakura") in January 2017 for the golfwear brand, ZOY. The contract covers total wear including rainwear, belts and socks.
Takihyo will fully support Sakura who continues to challenge with the world as her stage, combining both glamour and strength. We hope you will join us in our support of Sakura and her goal to win at the US and Japan tour.

Hometown: Kagoshima Prefecture, JAPAN

Born in Kanoya, Kagoshima as the 3rd daughter of the Yokomine family. Influenced by her father, Yoshiro and eldest sister, Rui (also a pro golfer), Sakura started to play golf at the age of 8.
Passed the professional golf test in August 2004. Seeded after 3 matches, the fastest ever in history. With numerous tour wins, became the prize-money champion in 2009. Set the record of qualifying 101 consecutive times and received the LPGA Mercedes-Benz Player of the Year in 2013.
Won the Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open in November 2014, making her total prize money over a billion yen. In December, played in the qualifying tournament of the USLPGA and passed at 11th place. Since then, America has become her main battlefield. Ranked 71st in the USLPGA prize-money earnings in 2016. Will continue to focus on the US Tour in 2017 but is scheduled to play in the Japan Tour as well. The goal is to win at both tours.
