Takihyo Co.,Ltd. has signed a domestic License Agreement with Benesse Corporation (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Okayama City, Okayama Managing Director: Mr. Jin Kobayashi) for "Shimajiro" baby and kid's apparel and accessories and will begin sales to mass retailers (specialty stores) from November 2016.
"Shimajiro" is the main character of "Kid's Challenge", a correspondence course for children 0 - 6 years old and developed by Benesse Corporation from 1988. 740,000 children in Japan are members; playing, learning, growing from their rich experiences with "Shimajiro" and nurturing the strength to make way into the future.
Our company will be the first license business in apparel. We will take extra care in "security and safety" and will present items specially designed so children can experience the joy of "doing it all by myself".
